A unique journey through Adelaide's past, present, and future
Discover the many layers of Adelaide’s story on this special collaborative tour presented by Radelaide Tours and Southern Cultural Immersion.
Over 2.5 hours, your journey begins with a 90-minute walk led by a passionate local guide from Radelaide Tours. You’ll explore Adelaide’s vibrant heart, weaving through its cultural precinct, East End laneways, and bustling central district. Along the way, uncover the city’s evolution from colonial times to the present day, with stories of its architecture, food, drinks, and culture that make this city one-of-a-kind.
Then, at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens, you’ll be welcomed onto Kaurna Country by a First Nations guide from Southern Cultural Immersion. In this interactive experience, learn about the significance of Tarntanya (the Kaurna name for the Adelaide plains), explore native botanic knowledge, and deepen your understanding of the culture, history, and enduring connection Kaurna people have to this land. The tour will conclude with a smoking ceremony/ochre cleansing!
This is a powerful blend of perspectives, offering visitors a true sense of place, past and present.
